Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the SEI website and streaming service, run by SEI Media Group. By creating an account or using SEI, you agree to them.
Your account
- You need to be 18 or older to create an account.
- Give a real name and an email address you can access, and keep your password private.
- You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at [support email, e.g. support@seimediagroup.com] if you think someone else has used it.
- You can delete your account at any time on the Account page.
Plans and prices
- Free: every match SEI broadcasts, in 720p, on one screen.
- Pro: R49 a month, for 1080p on two screens.
- Elite: R89 a month, for 4K where the broadcast is filmed in 4K, four screens, and the premium features listed on the plans page.
Pro and Elite aren't on sale yet. Before they open, we'll publish billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms, in line with the Consumer Protection Act. Prices in other regions are shown in local currency.
Streaming
- Matches are streamed through YouTube, so YouTube's Terms of Service also apply when you watch.
- Picture quality depends on your connection and device, and on how the match was filmed.
- Schedules can change. Matches can be delayed, moved or cancelled by organisers or broadcasters.
- We aim to keep SEI available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted.
Content and fair use
Matches, highlights, photos, logos and other content on SEI belong to SEI, the competitions and teams, or our partners. You may watch them for personal use. You may not record, re-stream, sell or publicly show them without written permission.
Don't try to break or overload SEI, get into other people's accounts, or get around plan limits or sign-in protections.
Shop
The team shop is in preview. Items and prices are examples, and checkout is switched off. Terms for orders, delivery, returns and refunds will be published before the shop opens.
Sponsors and links
SEI shows sponsor messages and links to other websites. We aren't responsible for other websites' content or practices.
Ending or suspending accounts
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing paid access or re-streaming matches. Where the law allows, we'll tell you why.
Liability
We provide SEI as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by interruptions or events outside our control. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will post the new version here. South African law applies.
